A walker and his dog have been rescued from Tryfan, Snowdonia, after becoming stuck in what was a busy day for rescue helicopters from RAF Valley. The walker was winched aboard the Sea King helicopter but a mountain rescue team member led the dog to safety after it was put off by the rotor blades. Earlier the helicopter flew an injured man who had plunged 40ft (12m) off an Anglesey cliff to hospital at Bangor. A second helicopter picked up a man with a suspected heart attack nearby. The man's wife called coastguards at Holyhead after he fell ill while fishing. The emergencies happened around 100ft (30m) from each other on Monday lunchtime. The conditions of both men are not known.
