Estyn Inspectors said the nursery had a successful relationship with parents
A Cardiff nursery school where children were too busy to talk has passed its inspection report with flying colours. Pupils were asked about work but were so engrossed they "politely but assertively" said they "didn't have time to talk now", said inspectors. Grangetown Nursery was given maximum Grade 1 marks after the Estyn visit. Head Jan Comrie said: "It's good to know they are so engaged and have the confidence to say something like that to a grown up". She added: "The whole school community is elated with the outcome. "We work really hard to make sure the transition from home life to school is as made easy as possible for the children." The report, published on Wednesday, picked out the positive relationship between staff and children as one of the outstanding features.
