Posh Spice lookalike Karen Young has discovered the drawbacks of fame suffered by the singer.

The south Wales secretary's resemblance to the multi-millionaire pop star means she is constantly having to fight off unwanted advances from male admirers.

"I know that most women would die to look like Posh Spice, but it is a real pain," said the former model.

"The worst thing is having men leering and shouting at me all the time.

"Some of them can get really threatening.

"One night a complete stranger grabbed me around the waist and said 'I can show you something that Beckham can't'. It was really horrible."

The 20-year-old's problems became worse a year ago when she had her long black hair styled into a fashionable short crop.

"Once I was stalked for more than an hour by a man. Finally he came up and asked for my autograph. It was really embarrassing when I told him that I wasn't Posh."

Hassle

But she is finally cashing in on the resemblance by working for a lookalike agency.

However, the constant attention is not just a headache for Karen - her 23-year-old fianc� David also suffers.

"When I'm out with Karen I never know whether there's going to be any hassle or not," he said.

"Unfortunately, I don't look anything like David Beckham - otherwise I'd quite enjoy it."
