Man found hanged after woman dies

The dead woman's brother was treated at hospital
House-to-house inquiries are being carried out in Wrexham after a 41-year-old woman was stabbed to death and her brother seriously injured.

The body of a man was later found hanged in a garage at another address.

Officers were called to an address in Empress Road Wrexham at 1030 GMT following reports of a disturbance.

Tracy Jones, suffered fatal stab wounds and died in hospital. Her brother - who has not been named - is being treated at the town's Maelor hospital.

North Wales Police said inquiries led them to find Michael Andrew Evans hanged in a garage in the nearby village of Llay.

Police said Ms Jones' brother was undergoing surgery in hospital.

His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. He is still being treated at Wrexham Maelor Hospital.

Police said they were not looking for anyone else in connection with incident.
