Inquest date for Corus deaths
Scene of the explosion at Corus in Port Talbot
Three people died and 12 others were injured in the blast
The inquest into the deaths of three men killed in the Port Talbot Corus steelworks explosion more than three years ago, should now be held in July.

A hearing was due to have taken place last September but was postponed.

The inquest is scheduled to start on 11 July at the Guildhall in Swansea.

The explosion in blast furnace five in November 2001, killed Andrew Hutin and Stephen Galsworthy both from Port Talbot, and Len Radford from Maesteg.

An inquest date had been set for last September but was put on hold due to a number of factors - including delays with the health and safety investigation and difficulties in finding a suitable location.

Corus has admitted civil liability, but the coroner's office says that the Crown Prosecution Service and the Health and Safety Executive are still in consultation over whether the company or any individuals are to face criminal charges.
