Movie star Catherine Zeta Jones has congratulated her niece on her GCSE exam results by taking out an advert in a local newspaper in Swansea. The advert appeared on page 43 of the South Wales Evening Post to celebrate Jenna Jones' 12 GSCEs.
A spokesman for the paper said Oscar winner Zeta Jones and actor husband Michael Douglas were expressing pride at Jenna's achievements.
Last weekend, the couple took part in a celebrity golf tournament in Newport.
They are currently enjoying a long holiday in Swansea, but joined stars including Chris Evans, Ronan Keating and Boris Becker at the competition at the Celtic Manor Resort.
In the advert, they congratulate Jenna for her three A stars, four As, four Bs and one C, alongside other messages from family members.
A spokesman for the Evening Post said: "Catherine and her husband decided to use the Evening Post to express their pride at their niece's achievement like scores of our readers do every year.
"I am sure that the ad is something she will want to cut out and keep for the future."
