Will Dafydd Iwan or Cynog Dafis become party president? |
As Plaid Cymru members vote to pick their new leadership team, BBC News Online checks out the candidates in the running for the posts. The party needs to fill its two top jobs - the president and the party's leader in the Welsh assembly.
The vacancies came up after Ieuan Wyn Jones, who had held both positions, announced he would be stepping down immediately after May's Welsh assembly elections.
Dafydd Iwan and Cynog Dafis are the only two candidates for the presidency.
There are three AMs vying for the role of leading the party in the assembly - Helen Mary Jones and Rhodri Glyn Thomas are the newcomers, but Ieuan Wyn Jones has also put his name back into the mix, and is hoping to keep the job.
Votes will be counted on Monday, 15 September, with all votes expected to arrive before midday on that day.
