Morocco fear over missing girl
Police
Police are concerned Estelle has been taken out of the country
A four-year-old girl who has not been seen for two weeks could have been abducted and taken out of the UK, police fear.

Estelle "Esti" Clayton has been missing since she went to stay with her natural father Simon Clayton on 9 April.

Police officers suspect Mr Clayton, from the Hay-on-Wye area, could have taken Estelle to Morocco, ahead of a court hearing over who was to have custody of her.

Travellers and holidaymakers are now being targeted by police, as they seek information about the missing pair.

It is believed Mr Clayton and Estelle boarded a ferry to Caen in France from Portsmouth on the day Estelle disappeared.

There has been no contact from Esti or her father and concerns are growing for their safety and well-being

Mr Clayton was due to appear at a court hearing in Brecon on Friday, at which a residence order was granted to Estelle's mother, Aneta.

Officers from Dyfed-Powys Police are appealing to anyone travelling to Europe or Morocco to report any sightings of a red Volkswagen Caravelle, registration number A276 OFJ.

"It is suspected that Mr Clayton may still be in France or be heading for Spain or Morocco," a police spokesman said.

"It is hoped that anyone heading for Europe or Morocco over the next days or weeks will report any sightings of Esti, her father or the vehicle.

"Similarly, anyone returning from such destinations is asked to consider whether they may have seen anything in their travels.

"There has been no contact from Esti or her father and concerns are growing for their safety and well-being," he added.
