The authors of an influential travel guide have been accused of ignoring many of Carmarthenshire's highlights. In the latest edition of the Lonely Plant Guide, which hits the shelves on Monday, there is no mention of Llanelli's Millennium Coastal Park or Pembrey Country Park.
Carmarthenshire Council is also annoyed at the omission of Aberglasney Gardens, Dolau Cothi Gold Mines and Kidwelly Castle.
But the publishers say it would be impossible to highlight every attraction in a guide that covers the whole of Britain.

The book does describes Laugharne as a pretty town and states that the National Botanic Garden is fit to rival the famous Kew Gardens in London.
But the council's head of regeneration Huw John says the county has much more to offer.

"Carmarthenshire is a wonderful place to live, work and visit.
"There is so much to see and so many exciting developments taking place.
"Pembrey Country Park is a real jewel which attracts around 500,000 visitors every year, yet that has also been missed out.
"I am amazed that the Millennium Coastal Park is not included, nor the wonderful Aberglasney Gardens and so many other features we have to offer.
"With our beaches, castles, walks, gardens and numerous attractions, we have so much to suit people right across the spectrum."
Author of the guide David Else said a team of researchers from the UK and abroad took a year to research the book.
"There's not much we miss, if we don't think an attraction is worth a mention it does not get in," he said.
He added it was not a directory of attractions but a list of highlights.
