Finance firm to lose 120 jobs
Zurich Warranty Management Service offices in Prestatyn
Redundancy notices will be sent out by Christmas
A finance firm has announced 120 job losses at a north Wales town.

Zurich Warranty Management Services said the jobs are to go at its offices in Prestatyn.

The company, which is part of the Zurich Finance Group, said it was doing everything it could to ensure that staff are helped to find new jobs.

The warranty management services work - currently carried out on the site of the former Kwik Save headquarters - is being contracted out to a company called Home Service GB in the English Midlands.

It is expected the offices will close and the redundancy notices served before Christmas.

A spokesperson for Zurich said the company had decided to concentrate on its core markets.

Denbighshire Council is contacting the company to offer support for the workforce.
