"It will let people sitting the other side of the world see what is going on here 24 hours a day.

"The book itself shows people who are thinking about investing in Wales, what it is like to do business here.

"People can fully access the book online for the first time and it has a wealth of information.

"It really is the bible for people wanting to do business in Wales.

Wales is a flourishing and progressive nation with a bright future

Andrew Davies, Assembly Member

This is the third edition of the book, which is published every two years.

The first edition was used by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office as the official handbook for delegates attending the European Summit in Cardiff in 1998.

It features a comprehensive list of influential businesses, organisations and media companies.

Information on what achievements have been made in Wales recently are included and it details key sectors.

The authors of the book have also included a directory of leading companies and statistics of every county in the country.

Welsh Economic Development Minister Andrew Davies said: "The Welsh Assembly Government wants Wales to be recognised, at home and overseas, as a first case place to live, study work and do business.

"This book is helping promote this ideal and selling the message to the UK and the rest of the world that Wales is a flourishing and progressive nation with a bright future," he said.
