Police found �99,000 worth of cocaine in Browne's car

Marlon Browne took two children, aged six months and three years, along with him to a drugs handover in a McDonald's car park in Perth.

Browne, 22, from Liverpool, admitted being concerned in the supply of cocaine on 22 October, last year.

He will be sentenced next month after background reports have been received.

Alastair Carmichael, prosecuting, told the court that police were following the man who was to pick up the drugs from Browne.

Officers tailed George Duncan from his workplace in Perth to the McDonald's car park and watched as Browne passed him the drugs through a car window.

'Hollowed-out base'

Duncan, who is now serving a three-year sentence for being concerned in the supply of cocaine, then handed Browne �10,000.

Mr Carmichael added: "Browne's car was searched by police officers who recovered a child's car booster seat which had a hollowed-out base and appeared to be a hide which was suitable for concealing controlled drugs."

Duncan's car was also searched and officers found the cocaine.

Defence advocate Ronnie Renucci told the court that Browne had no convictions for drugs offences and had never used drugs.
