The pair were found on the mountain in the early hours
A man and woman spent the night on a mountain in the Trossachs after becoming lost in heavy cloud.

The pair, who were experienced climbers and well equipped, contacted the emergency services by mobile phone from Ben Ledi.

The Killin Mountain Rescue Team was sent out to find the pair, who were located at about 1000 GMT on Sunday by a search and rescue dog.

Police said the man and woman did not need medical attention.

Insp John Eggo, from Central Scotland Police, said: "They became a bit disorientated so had to spend the night on the mountain but keep in contact and were in good spirits."
