Dundee University graduates have been honoured at a prestigious television awards ceremony. Jen Randall's film 'RAT', was named best Undergraduate Drama at the Royal Television Society (RTS) Student Awards for Scotland.
Runner-up in the same category was fellow Dundee graduate Andy Sim.
The sci-fi animation 'Unknown Element' by Alan Searle and Andrew Tulloch was the runner up in the animation group, and was praised for its high standard.
'Fresh approach'
Steve Flack, head of the school of media arts and imaging, said: "This is the first time the school has entered for a RTS Drama award and the jury panel noted the unique, fresh approach to the work and the high standard.
"We are delighted to see our graduates enjoying this kind of success."
The event's chairman, Henry Eagles, noted that Scotland has become a hub for animation with a reputation for producing excellent student graduates.
Ms Randall's film, which tells the story of a young girl, will now be entered into the National RTS awards.
