Drug raids net 250,000 of heroin
Heroin with a street value of 250,000 has been seized by police in Dundee.

Drug squad officers found two and a quarter kilos of the Class A substance when they raided a car in the city's Clepington Road at about 1400 GMT.

Tayside Police said a subsequent search of a house resulted in the recovery of a "sizable" amount of cash.

Two men, a 32-year-old from Dundee, and a 52-year-old from the Manchester area have been arrested and were expected to appear in court on Friday.

Det Sgt Adrian Robertson said: "'This is just another example of our commitment to tackling those involved in either the possession or supply of Class A drugs."
