Man attacked by Sat Nav thieves
Police in Falkirk are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked by thieves who stole satellite navigation equipment from his van.

The 37-year-old, who has not been named, was assaulted and left in need of hospital attention after the theft in Brightons on Saturday.

Central Scotland Police said the incident happened at about 1500 BST in Union Place in the town.

The force is urging anyone with information to come forward.

Detective Sergeant Gordon Boyce said: "When he tackled the men he was assaulted and left with a cut to his head which needed hospital treatment."
