Tax aid for flood-hit residents
Residents in Stirling and Perth and Kinross affected by recent flooding may by eligible for council tax relief.

Bad weather in December forced dozens of people to leave their homes, with some unable to return for six months.

The two councils have now urged people who may be eligible for help to get in touch with their authority.

After a flooding incident, council tax is not charged on houses which are unoccupied, uninhabitable and undergoing repair work.
