Post office closure study launch
Perth and Kinross Council has launched a study to assess the impact of potential Post Office closures.

The local authority's concerns came amid country-wide fears that a decline in the number of people using the service may result in cuts.

The council claimed such changes could badly affect rural communities.

It has decided to survey local postmasters to build a picture of how any closures would affect them and the people they serve.
