Port spill exclusion zone reduced
Scene of chemical leak at Grangemouth docks

The exclusion zone set up at Grangemouth docks following Wednesday night's chemical leak has been reduced.

The reduction from 500m to 100m means that only the container terminal now remains closed, said the operators Forth Ports.

The bulk container at the centre of the Divinylbenzene leak is still being monitored and a decision on what do to with it may be taken on Friday.

The incident caused a large vapour plume above theForth.
