Perth students have designed a new poster campaign to celebrate the launch of Sexual Health Week on 7 August. The poster, which focuses on the sexual disease chlamydia, is to be displayed in health centres and student unions.
Richard McIntosh, of NHS Tayside, praised the students for focusing on what is the most common sexually transmitted infection in Scotland.
The awareness week is run by the Family Planning Association every year to highlight sexual health issues.
Mr McIntosh said: "The media students have done a great job on the design and come up with a good idea which focuses on chlamydia.
"The campaign seeks to raise awareness of sexual health and to make sure people know where to access their local service or get advice.
"Everyone needs to be aware of risks involved so they can make an informed decision regarding their sexual health and also take some responsibility for it, so that they can protect themselves from unwanted infections."
During the week a guide to sexual health services will also be available throughout Tayside.
