A 20-year-old man charged with offences under the Terrorism Act has appeared at a second special court sitting. Mohammed Atif Siddique attended a sheriff court hearing at Polmont Young Offenders' Institution, where he is currently being held.
He made no plea or declaration and was committed for trial for allegedly committing offences under Section 58(1b) of the act.
Mr Siddique was arrested in Alva, Clackmannanshire, on 13 April.
He appeared at a special sheriff court sitting at Falkirk police station last week following questioning at a top-security police station at Govan in Glasgow.
Mr Siddique's lawyer Aamer Anwar said: "Mr Siddique was fully committed today at a sheriff court sitting.
"He made no plea or declaration. Bail was refused and the matter will now proceed to trial."
