Factory workers accept redundancy
Interfloor factory
More than 40 jobs will be lost at the Dumfries factory
More than 40 members of staff at a struggling Dumfries factory have lost their jobs.

The Interfloor workers all accepted redundancy packages following a 30-day consultation period.

Around 54 job losses were announced at the start of last month due to competition from foreign imports.

The number was eventually reduced to 46 and union officials claimed those who were made redundant seemed happy with the company's decision.
