Work starts on child care centre
Work has started on a new flagship centre providing support services for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties in Wigtownshire.

The 1.4m facility in Stranraer will act as a base for The Aberlour Child Care Trust's Crannog service.

It was commissioned by Dumfries and Galloway Council to help children with social problems.

The building in the town's Thistle Street is expected to be complete by April next year.
