Police seek fatal crash witnesses
Police have appealed for witnesses to a crash in which two people from Dumfries were killed on Thursday afternoon.

A man and a woman, both aged 63, died after the accident on the A75 at the Collin bypass at about 1520 BST.

Their vehicle, a red Proton Wira, was in collision with a blue Chrysler Neon, driven by a 39-year-old Annan woman with a 36-year-old female passenger.

The names of the deceased will not be released by police until their relatives have been informed.
