Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall will make their first public engagements as a couple in Scotland later this month. A three-day tour of the country will take them right across Dumfries and Galloway and the Borders.
The visit starts with a trip to Castle Douglas to see a jewellery business set up with the help of the Prince's Trust.
During their stay they will also officially open a new bone scanner at the Borders General Hospital.
The Duke and Duchess of Rothesay are following in the footsteps of Prince Charles' parents who officially opened the hospital in 1988.
Official opening
As a patron of the National Osteoporosis Society Camilla will officially open the bone densitometry scanner.
During their stay in Scotland the couple will also visit Broughton House in Kirkcudbright and Threave Gardens near Castle Douglas.
After visiting the Borders, the Duke and Duchess, will spend time in Edinburgh before heading north to Argyll, the Isle of Rhum and Ballater to conclude their stay.
The three-day tour runs from 30 May to June 1.
