The deadline has passed for potential bidders to express an interest in the Hunter Rubber Company in Dumfries. The famous wellington boot maker went into administration on 10 April and numerous buyers expressed an interest.
There was no immediate announcement expected after the cut-off point for potential buyers passed on 21 April.
A spokeswoman for administrators KPMG said the deadline would see further talks start which could take days or even weeks to come to a conclusion.
