A wind farm designed to generate enough electricity for 23,000 homes has been approved by the Scottish Government. The 17-turbine Lochluichart scheme near Dingwall in Ross-shire is expected to create 100 construction jobs and other employment once operational. Energy Minister Jim Mather said the project would help Scotland meet renewable power targets. He said: "This is exactly the type of project we need to drive our renewables ambitions for Scotland."
