Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg
Nick Clegg said more needed to be done to help families and businesses

The UK Government should be prepared to force energy firms to lower prices this winter, Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg said on a visit to the Highlands.

He said: "Families and businesses are facing a difficult winter - and nowhere more so than here in the Highlands."

The MP was speaking ahead of delivering a speech to Inverness Chamber of Commerce.
