Delays in opening the new �8m Culloden Battlefield visitor centre have been blamed on state-of-the-art technology. The National Trust for Scotland said it was working hard to overcome the ongoing delays.
But the organisation could not confirm an opening date despite missing several target dates.
NTS Project managers said advanced technology issues were involved in the hold-up. The centre, near Inverness, was due to open in the summer of 2007.
The new centre is being funded by the Scottish Government through VisitScotland as part of the Highland Year of Culture, as well as the European Regional Development Fund and Inverness and East Highland Enterprise.
