Independents and the SNP have gained in the Comhairle nan Eilean Siar (Western Isles Council) elections. The polls have seen 25 councillors not affiliated to a political party elected, while the Nationalists have four - one more than last time.
Labour have two - two less than they had at the previous election.
Highland Council now has 35 independents, 21 Liberal Democrats, 17 SNP and seven Labour councillors following a count in Inverness.
