Tourism school plan for Highlands
A new education and training centre is to be opened in the Highlands in an effort to tackle a skills shortage in the hospitality industry.

The Centre of Applied Tourism and Hospitality Management will be based at the Macdonald Aviemore Highland Resort.

The hotel chain has invested �700,000 in the project.

Highlands and Islands Enterprise, UHI Millennium Institute, Swiss Education Group and Motherwell College are also involved in the school.
