A former contestant on BBC Two's Dragon's Den programme has won a clutch of business awards. Jacquie Edwards, from Newtonmore, runs two companies and has been developing a disposable and bio-degradable paper toilet seat cover.
She has won two honours this month to add to two picked up earlier this year.
Ms Edwards appeared in episode one of the third series of Dragon's Den. On the programme, entrepreneurs pitch ideas to a panel.
So far this year, she has come highly commended in both the entrepreneur and small to medium sized business of the year categories of the National Business Awards for Scotland.
Ms Edwards won the Federation of Small Businesses' Lions' Lair competition and won the Innovation Award - Best Washroom Product 2007 at the NEC Cleaning Show 2007.
