Ozzy Osbourne's former keyboard player is involved in the workshops |
A musician who spent 17 years as Ozzy Osbourne's keyboard player will help to lead music workshops in the Highlands and Islands. The summer rock schools have been organised by Careers Scotland.
John Sinclair, who performed with Osbourne, will be one of five musicians helping youngsters to learn new skills.
Two and three-day workshops, which are aimed at people aged over 14, will be held in Sutherland and Ross-shire during August.
The first workshop will be at the MacPhail Centre in Ullapool from 2 to 4 August. Eighteen young people from the Isle of Lewis will attend the event.
A two-day workshop will take place at the Invershin Hall, Invershin, from 7 to 8 August, while the final set of workshops will be at Ross County Football Club in Dingwall from 9 to 11 August.
There will be special showcase events on the final evenings of each event where bands from all three venues will come together to play.
