Married mountaineers' homecoming
Phil and Pauline Sanderson
The couple work at Glenmore Lodge Outdoor Centre
A couple who became the first husband and wife from the UK to reach the summit of Everest are back home in Grantown-on-Spey, Strathspey.

Phil and Pauline Sanderson stood on the 29,028ft peak last month.

They returned to work at Glenmore Lodge Outdoor Centre, near Aviemore, on Monday where they were welcomed back by their colleagues.

They were part of the Everestmax expedition which was raising money for three charities.

Mrs Sanderson, 41, also completed the world's longest climb before she was joined by her 39-year-old husband in tackling Everest.

Her adventure began with a cycle expedition from the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth.
