Two osprey chicks have hatched at the RSPB Scotland's wild bird reserve in the Highlands. The first chick was spotted in the nest near Boat of Garten, Badenoch and Strathspey, early on Sunday morning.
A second hatched on Monday and staff hope the remaining egg will hatch sometime tomorrow.
Site manager Richard Thaxton said people are turning up in their dozens to catch a glimpse of the parents, Henry and EJ, and their offspring.
Mr Thaxton said the reserve's staff were "thrilled to bits" and added that the chicks were a well-deserved reward for those who had mounted a round-a-clock guard on the nest to deter egg collectors.
Very small
The first chick was seen at 0650 BST on Sunday and the second at about 1100 BST on Monday.
Mr Thaxton said: "This morning I got a call from my staff to say there were two wee heads in the nest.
"They've just hatched and are very small, so it's very important they get their strength up.
"We have had the two adult birds here for some years now and we know that Henry is good at providing for his family."
