The Loaded Dog stands outside a veterinary clinic in Whyalla |
The sculptor responsible for the Clydesdale horse on the M8 has unveiled his latest creation in Australia. Glasgow-based Andy Scott was commissioned by a vet to create Tommy the mischievous Labrador from Henry Lawson's story, The Loaded Dog.
Dr Andrew Melville-Smith of the Whyalla veterinary clinic in South Australia said the sculpture was a gift to the city and future generations.
He described Mr Scott's sculpture as "something very special".
In addition, Mr Scott is aiming to create the world's largest horse sculptures as part of a 25m project to transform part of the landscape between Falkirk to Grangemouth.
