A plan to deliver clean water to the developing world, which appeared on BBC Two's Dragons' Den, has been judged Scotland's best business idea.

Red Button Design was awarded 5,000 from the Business Gateway for its invention which sanitises water for drinking and bathing.

The business was set up by University of Glasgow students Amanda Jones, James Brown and Nicholas Pang.

The water filtration system won the backing of the Dragons in December.

Ms Jones said: "We are very flattered to have won the competition and such ongoing support has given us the confidence to continue making such rapid progress."
