Tartan party for Euro 2008 clash
Scotland fans
Fans who haven't got a ticket can watch it on big screens
Scotland's crucial Euro 2008 qualifier against Italy later this month will be shown on big screens at a party on Glasgow Green.

Tickets for the "Tartan Party" on 17 November go on sale on Saturday and cost 12.

As well as the game being shown, there will be entertainment and a beer garden, plus guest appearances from former Scotland players.

The Scots need a win at Hampden to qualify for the tournament.

Glasgow City Council leader, Steven Purcell said: "This is the biggest Scotland match for a decade or more.

"Everyone will want to see the boys beat Italy and I want to ensure that as many people as possible can share the atmosphere.

"This city is football daft and there's going to be a great party when we welcome our Italian friends here later this month.

"The events planned for Glasgow Green should mean everyone who goes along will have a fantastic time."
