An e-fit of a man being hunted in connection with two indecent assaults on schoolboys in the Saltcoats area has been released by Strathclyde Police.

The first incident, involving a 15-year-old boy, happened at about 0720 BST on 10 August on a footpath near Jacks Road, Saltcoats.

The second incident, also involving a 15-year-old boy near Jacks Road, took place at about 2050 BST on 12 October.

The man was described as white, thin, aged 18-25 years, with short fair hair.

He was 5ft 7in to 6ft tall and on both occasions was carrying a blue/green carrier bag.

Detectives appealed for anyone with information or who recognised the person in the e-fit to contact police in Saltcoats or to call Crimestoppers.
