Aussie star launches pop comeback
Jason Donovan
Jason Donovan is due to perform his new single at the event
Australian star Jason Donovan is to launch his pop comeback at an exclusive Scottish concert, it was announced.

The former Neighbours actor will perform at a special event at Hamilton Park Racecourse on 13 June.

He will sing his new single, Share My World, which will be his first offering since 1993.

Jason, who shot to fame in the late 80s as Scott Robinson, follows in the footsteps of Dannii Minogue who performed at Hamilton last year.

Alastair Warwick, chief executive of Hamilton Park Racecourse, said: "We are delighted to welcome Jason to Saints and Sinners night and I'm sure he'll be a big hit with the crowd.

"It continues our commitment to bring some of the biggest names in pop to the racecourse with Liberty X, Lucie Silvas and, of course, Dannii Minogue among those who have performed here recently.

"Also, Sandi Thom played here last season just a week before she hit the top spot in the charts so hopefully Hamilton Park can prove to be a similarly lucky charm for Jason."
