Police have arrested 24 anti-war protesters outside the Faslane nuclear weapons base. The 24 demonstrators, 11 of whom are thought to be French, were held after blocking the Clyde base entrance on Monday.
Traffic entering and leaving the base was halted for an hour.
Strathclyde Police said the 17 women and seven men were held in custody overnight and are expected to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
The French protesters said they were protesting over Trident nuclear weapons, due for renewal by the UK Government, and the replacement of nuclear missiles in France.
The other people held are thought to be British.
