Flooding has caused extensive disruption to rail services in the West of Scotland. It has been confirmed that trains to Motherwell, Dalmuir and Helensburgh have all been replaced by buses.
The emergency services have also been mopping up following flood damage to homes on the south side of Glasgow.
Emergency crews were called to Waulkglen Road, Southpark Village where more than 12 houses were hit by the heavy downpours over the last 24 hours.
Nearly an inch of rain fell overnight.
Strathclyde Fire and Rescue said it responded to 26 calls about flooding overnight.
The worst of these were on the south side of Glasgow, where about 50 homes were affected by floodwater.
In several of the properties, the water was two to three feet deep and about 24 people had to be evacuated.
Suspended services
Fire crews pumped out water for several hours and helped Glasgow City Council and Scottish Water teams to build a temporary barrier to divert the floodwater, which is thought to have come from nearby streams.
Sadia Arshad's home in Southpark Village was flooded.
"Within an hour, the place was totally flooded," she said.
"Everything go wet downstairs, water was flooding in so fast.
"Everything is drenched in water, floorboards and carpets were floating.
"We tried to lift as much as we could."
First ScotRail said it had suspended services between Dalmuir and Larkhall, Dalmuir and Motherwell/Lanark, and between Motherwell to Milngavie from early morning.
Buses have been laid on between Dalmuir, Clydebank and Yoker; Garscadden and Clydebank and Yoker and between Motherwell, Airbles and Hamilton Central stations.
The flooding has caused Nitshill Road to be closed and the onslip at Junction 2 of the southbound M77 is currently closed.
