The final allocation of tickets for the fireworks concert which marks the end of the Edinburgh International Festival go on sale on Sunday morning. The annual spectacular finale, the Bank of Scotland Fireworks Concert is on Sunday 31 August at 2100 BST. Wilf Scott and Keith Webb, from Pyrovision, are behind the display. It includes 100,000 fireworks, four tonnes of explosives and hundreds of firing sequences including the famous waterfall cascading from the castle. Acclaimed firebrand Romanian conductor Nicolae Moldoveanu leads the Scottish Chamber Orchestra in a programme of music for Hungarian Dances by Brahms and Slavonic Dances by Dvorak. Tickets cost �10, are limited to four per person and are for access to Princes St Gardens. People are urged to queue early to buy the tickets, which go on sale at 1000 BST on Sunday from the counter of Hub Tickets on Castlehill.
