OAP rescued from Mexican jungle
An Edinburgh pensioner has been found after surviving two days in the Mexican jungle without food or water.

William Ditchburn, from Morningside, got lost and twisted his ankle after falling in the Yucatan peninsula.

Mr Ditchburn, who is now recovering, was visiting an archaeological site when the accident occurred.

The retired 70-year-old was found on Boxing Day after a major rescue operation began when the hotel he was staying in raised the alarm.
