A film of last year's Homeless World Cup in Edinburgh is to premiere in the capital next month.

Rosie Kane MSP will open the first showing of The Homeless World Cup: The Movie at the Edinburgh Film House on Friday 7 July at 1345 BST.

The 25-minute film, was produced and shot by five members of the homeless service Spectrum during the tournament in Princes Street Gardens.

The film documents their experience of filming the event.

Great experience

Gary Thomson, from the press team, said: "It was totally amazing, the fans, the atmosphere and the people we interviewed were amazing.

"The training we had helped us to prepare but the event itself was a great experience."

Spectrum is one of a range of services provided by Foursquare for people who are or have been homeless.

Spectrum is a support service designed to assist vulnerable people to prepare for, access and sustain opportunities in education, training and employment.
