This blue tit coming in to land on a bird feeder was taken in a wood near Hurlford, Ayrshire, by James McKinna.

Mehul Ruparel stopped at Connel on the way to Oban to admire this sunset. He said these men had their hip flasks out and stood there for over an hour contemplating and admiring the scene.

This fox cub was taken into Hessilhead Wildlife Rescue Centre, Ayrshire, after being found alone in a Jordanhill garden. Gay Christie, from the centre, said it has taken to the bottle well.

This little mouse lives in Joyce Munro's garden wall in Dunfermiline. "It has become braver over the winter and now happily shares the bird food, " she said. "The blackbirds are not sure what to make of it though."

Despite the temperature of Loch Eshort, Isle of Skye, Rob Ware said his two Spanish water dogs, Dali and Seve, love to play in the surf at the beach "acting like Scottish kangaroos".
