On board ships moored during slump

Four huge redundant container ships are being mothballed on Loch Striven, in the Firth of Clyde.

The decline in world trade has caused the Danish shipping giant Maersk to put the ships into storage. Some local people have expressed dismay that they are spoiling the landscape.

BBC Scotland has been on board to see what life is like for the crew.
