Glorious in defeat. The epithet which seems to follow Scotland everywhere. Despite valiant efforts, it's all over - there is to be no EURO 2008 for Scotland at any rate.

From Uist to Govan, the dejection was palpable but the message was clear - "we gave a good account of ourselves".
The Tartan Army were gutted but at least they would live to fight another day.
Alas, the Scottish team had not sent Donadoni's men homewards to think again.
On Glasgow's packed Sauchiehall Street, there was a strong contingent from the Highlands and Islands.
Jennifer Campbell, 23, from Uist, said: "It has been a great night and I just wish the result had gone our way.
"We are not going let this result stop us from having a great night."
Scotland fans were heartbroken after a late Italian goal which saw their dream of European glory shattered.
Some 51,000 Scottish fans had crammed into Hampden to get behind their team.
But many more were in the nation's pubs to watch the game.
Alex Smillie, 27, had watched the match in Glasgow.
He said: "I am half Italian so I should be gutted either way. It was great to have come so far.
"I don't think anyone can be totally devastated as we put in a great performance. It's good that we were in for a shout at this late stage."
