The winners have until May to claim their Lottery cash |
Lottery organisers have stepped up their hunt for the two lucky winners of more than 130,000. It is thought that the winning tickets, bought in the Edinburgh area and the Highlands, could have been filed away with Christmas gift receipts.
The tickets have won 56,339 and 86,945 respectively.
The Edinburgh ticket was for the November 10 EuroMillions draw and the Highlands ticket was for the November 15 Lotto draw.
A National Lottery spokesman said: "What better way could there be than to start the new year off with a lottery win?

"We are desperate to find these mystery ticket holders and unite them with their winnings, and that is why we are urging everyone to check through all their old receipts and paperwork, in wallets and down the back of sofas."
The player in the Edinburgh area matched five numbers in the November 10 EuroMillions draw.
The winning numbers were 14, 21, 27, 30, 36 and the Lucky Stars were 2 and 3.
