The group behind 60m plans for three new secondary schools in the Borders is to face questions from the public.

The 3HS Project Team is holding open days at Duns, Earlston and Eyemouth high schools on 25 March.

Parents and the community will get the chance to question architects about the Public Private Partnership (PPP) plans.

Models and concept drawings for each school will be on display during the open day, which is scheduled to run from 1000 GMT to 1300 GMT.

It is hoped that the three new schools could open by August 2008.
